	My philosophy is to work as holistically with a person as possible - helping to make negative self talk and deep seated negative beliefs conscious by working with traditional and alternative methods of psychotherapy. There is also an emphasis on changing behaviour and taking action in the real world to promote real change. Respecting and meeting the client where they are at and honouring all their feelings is essential to my work.

Experience

Orientation

I have worked for nearly 20 years in the following areas:
Private Psychiatric Hospitals running adult group and individual therapy programs for depression and anxious clients. I have a particular interest in post traumatic stress, anxiety disorders, past abuse and depression. I have also worked as a generalist counsellor for TAFE for 10 years with adults and adolescents. this included careers counselling. I have run a private practice for 5 years adn been a supervisor for 10 years.

Cognitive behaviour therapy, client centred therapy, solution focused therapy, schema focused therapy, somatic psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, inner child work and healing, EMDR, and EFT.

Transport and Parking

Monday: 7.00am- 5.00pm
Tuesday: 7.00am - 5.00pm
Wednesday: 7.00am-5.00pm
Friday: 7.00am- 8.30am, 4.30pm-5.30pm

There is free 2 hour street parking available near my practice.
Otherwise the practice is a 10 minute walk from Manly Ferry Wharf.

Fees

Payment Options

Individual Session 1 hour: $160 (minus medicare rebate $117.50 with G.P. approved care plan). Non G.P referral $120/1 hour
Couple Session 1 hour : $170 (rebates available)
Supervision 1 hour: $112
Private rebates also available.
