My philosophy is that clients are coping the best way they can. However, that way of coping may be inappropriate for the present situation, because we usually learn our coping skills in childhood. So it may be necessary to explore these mechanisms. Often clients can see what the problem is, but cannot change the emotional attitude causing the problem. This is why I use a wide range of techniques, to find the right approach to individual emotional issues.

Peter Bean Counsellor
Each person is a unique and whole individual, who has worth in the eyes of God. I use an integrative approach, recognising and working with the diversity found in individuals. I have a leaning towards more creative counselling, including use of drawing, magnets, body focus, gestalt, and journalling. I seek to work with the client's agenda while guiding the process. I have been counselling for over 20 years.
