I also facilitate "Interventions" ~ a service for assisting the friends/relatives of addicts/alcoholics to help them start the recovery process. I work with the whole family prior to talking to their loved one about their problem and presenting them with options to deal with it. I will also organize accompanying them to and from any number of excellent treatment facilities in the United States with which I have professional relationships if this is decided by the family to be the best option. I am dedicated to consistently attending workshops/trainings so I can continue to offer my clients the best therapy that is available in the world. I value all of them and am proud of the high quality service I provide and importantly I believe they are worth it.
Over the years I have worked with many high profile clients as well as others who also highly guard their privacy when dealing with sensitive therapy issues. I work with the utmost discretion, ethics and high regard for confidentiality.

I have been a psychotherapist/counsellor for over 22 years. Many of those years I have also participated in my own journey as a client and so I understand many issues personally as well as having years of experience helping others and also "book knowledge". My initial training in addictions was at The Betty Ford Centre in America. I have taught at Graduate level in the U.S. and at ACAP counselling college here in Sydney. I am one of the few trained in the Strategic Developmental Model of EMDR. My overall orientation blends Eastern philosophy with Western psychology in a very gentle and empowering MindBody approach. That is, I address both. Our thoughts and emotions affect our health and often our bodily symptoms are clues as to what our emotional issues might be. I combine EMDR into my approaches which makes healing occur faster and deeper with a more permanent effect. I am highly trained in a number of therapy techniques and I use whatever best serves my client in the moment.
