| I provide therapeutic counselling to children, teenagers and adults; individuals and couples alike. I specialise in a range of personal and work related issues, including relationships, bullying, stress/burnout, psychological/physical injuries, depression and anxiety, trauma, pain management, anger management, grief and loss, relaxation, self-esteem and womens' issues. |
As a health professional I have always endeavoured to seek more knowledge and growth in both my professional career and my personal life. By attending to both my professional training and personal life, I believe that I have become a better Psychologist and are therefore better able to assist my clients. I also operate from a strong ethical and responsible practice framework, which has allowed me to also provide quality services for my clients. I am committed to ongoing training and development, and meet all ongoing requirements expected of both my registration and membership with the Australian Psychological Society. |

| I have had over ten years experience as a Psychologist, working in a range of environments, including charity, corrections, universities, research, workplace rehabilitation and employee assistance programs. I am experienced in clinical, counselling, forensic, and organisational psychology. I am also a qualified Primary School teacher. As a Psychologist I have also facilitated self-development group training programs, including anger management, pain management and stress management. |
I enjoy working from an eclectic approach, utilising a range of therapies, including Gestalt Therapy, Expressive Therapies (ie. sandplay and art therapy), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. However, in saying this my approach is generally influenced by the client and what best suits their presenting issue, their level of distress, their goals for therapy and the level of rapport and trust that has been developed with the client |
