I am a practitioner of a music-centred psychotherapy, Guided Imagery and Music (GIM). Using this method I assist individuals to emotionally deepen and explore their inner landscape. GIM involves listening to pre-recorded music in a relaxed state and allowing the imagination to come to conscious awareness. The selected pieces act as a psychological container in which an unfolding can occur. During the process a person is supported to access their inner strengths and vitality.
