Roslyn offers counselling for individuals, couples and families. She works from a variety of models depending on the client's presenting issue and what fits best for them. She works with people from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds. Roslyn uses a collaborative, respectful and supportive counselling approach which reflects the latest in counselling methods. Roslyn holds a Master of Counselling, Grad Cert in Mental Health and a Bachelor of Social Work and has experience in all three areas. Roslyn also works with drug and alcohol clients. She is registered as a Clinical Member of respective associations which monitor professional conduct.
   
Roslyn has many years experience working in mental health and drug and alcohol areas. She works with clients presenting with depression, anger management, PTSD, anxiety/panic attacks, personal problems, grief and loss, emotional crises, as well as clients with relationship/couple/marital issues. Roslyn takes an holistic approach to client's issues and assists them work through issues. Depending on the client's issues Roslyn will often work from a strengths-based, solution-focused and narrative framework to empower the client to work towards resolving their own issues. CBT is also used. With drug and alcohol issues, Roslyn works from a harm minimisation perspective to help clients work through problems.
   
Monday to Thursday from 5pm at the Grange. Saturday morning at Aspley and/or Sandgate.
On street parking; close to public transport
   
$90 for a one hour session. Medicare rebate of $71.95 per session for up to six sessions for referrals under the GP Mental Health Care Plan. Cash or cheque
