I offer individual and relationship psychotherapy and counseling for adults and couples. I see people for short or long term therapy, depending on their needs. I also have a particular interest in treating anxiety disorders (e.g. obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress, phobias and worry).

As a fully qualified and registered psychologist, I adhere to the ethical and professional standards required by the Australian Psychological Society. To ensure that I can use the very latest techniques in helping you, I devote a substantial amount of time to professional development through seminars, workshops, conferences, reading and peer review groups.

I have been a registered psychologist for 25 years. After completing my degree at the end of 1982, I worked full time as a Clinical Psychologist at Royal Brisbane Hospital for 4 years, and Princess Alexandra Hospital for the following 3 years. In 1990, I left the public system to start a private practice and a family. I treat adults with a broad range of backgrounds dealing with a wide variety of personal and relationship concerns. I draw from a range of orientations and try to integrate the best of the major therapy schools (cognitive behaviour therapy, psychodynamic and experiential) as well as EMDR, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness meditation, and solution focused strategies, offering an approach that is tailored to your needs.
