Life presents challenges and problems, and most people seek counselling or therapy only when they feel stuck with distress, dissatisfaction or loss of self-confidence. In early career more than seven years experience in counselling and therapy in two public counselling practices and a community mental health centre. Recent experience includes business experience, coaching, career counselling and treatment of specific issues using hypnosis as part of the treatment mix. Experience in training and supervising counsellors and coaches. Experience coaching and counselling men and women at all organisational levels. Most clients seek brief treatment, and a few engage in longer-term exploration and skill-building. I often recommend hypnosis to increase the short-term and long-term gains of therapy.
