Counselling and Psychotherapy for Individuals only. Group therapy and facilitation, Supervision of counsellors and therapists, Counselling educator, Grief and Bereavement Consultant I attend regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development and training . One of my current professional interests is in counselling education and how to best equip and support new therapists. I am also passionate about compassion fatigue and burn out for those working in health care settings. . The world of music, theatre, film and literature also inform my work

I am an educator /practitioner with over 15 years experience in the counselling field. This includes: faculty membership at the Jansen Newman Institute working as group therapist, faculty member and trainer on post-graduate courses and workshops at the Institute for Emotionally Focused Therapy, cousellor for NSW Probation and Parole ,bereavement consultant for ADAPT national programme delivering training to allied health professionals in grief and communication skills. Coming from an emotionally-focused perspective, I encourage exploration and expression of feelings as the road to awareness and understanding of who we are. This can be during a crisis, when making difficult decisions or just taking stock of life. Helping people to speak about, focus on, experience and express their inner world brings healing and change. I also encourage exercise, writing, mindfulness practice, reading and other creative tasks to help support this process of change.
