Being lesbian I know how it feels to be 'different'. I am drawn to a therapeutic approach which pays attention to social, political and cultural contexts. As your counsellor I want to help you separate yourself from the dominant stories you have internalised and create your own alternative life story. I believe that you are the expert in your lived experience and therefore the author of your own life story.

 I believe I can only counsel to the degree of my own self-awareness and therefore I am committed to ongoing personal therapy. Additionally, in clinical supervision I gain insight into how my own values and life experience may impact my therapeutic relationship with you.
Experience   Orientation  
For 30 years I've been motivating others to succeed, in the UK and in Australia. My life-long passion is helping others to achieve their full potential by working with the whole person as an emotional, intellectual, sexual, physical and spiritual being. The completion of my Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology in 2006 formalised many of the skills I had used throughout my career in Education. I utilise the therapeutic approach or combination of approaches which best fits your needs in the here-and-now.

Saturday 9am - 6pm
Sunday 10am - 6pm		 City bus and train services
