	I believe in allowing space for clients to say all that needs to be said. I then work with the client to define an approach that helps them to achieve their goals. I am essentially client centred. I also believe that assisting clients to achieve states of deep calm accelerates therapeutic progress. I help promote a positive outlook.

Service Quality Provision

I am client centred and draw from a wide number of approaches. Once I have heard what my client has to tell me, I outline possible approaches that will help. I then work in ways that the client prefers.

I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Over the years I have been a member of many associations that have promoted the approaches I use. I am motivated by improving the outcomes for my clients and this in turn motivates me to learn new approaches and refine my use of existing ones. I undertake regular supervision to maintain quality of practice.

Experience

Orientation

I have over thirty years experience in private practice. I have worked for the Tasmanian Emergency Service Critical Incident Debriefing Team. I have worked for Relationships Australia. I have been an assistant editor for the Australian Journal of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis, am a past president of the Australian Asscn for Applied Psychophysiology. I have worked in GP clinics, EAP programmes and private practice. I have been a group leader at the Institute of Counselling.

My orientation is essentially client centred. I can also work in directive ways when my client has chosen a directive approach. The approach used is always attuned to my client.

Hours

Transport and Parking

Leura: Mon - Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Other times by arrangement.

Sydney CBD: Friday 7.00 am to 7.00 pm

Located at Elevate Performance Spring St Sydney CBD. An easy walk from work.
