| I have been working with clients, both privately and in the community sector since 1984, overseas and in Australia. My roles have included working with children, adolescents, people with a disability, marginalised young people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse background, people living with HIV, people who are same sex attracted and young women at risk of homelessness. I also have extensive experience working with communities. I currently work part-time in Health Promotion. |
The therapeutic relationship is at the core of my work. It is a unique relationship that offers the client a safe space TO BE who THEY REALLY ARE, to be accepted, understood, seen, held, challenged and supported in their journey to gaining greater awareness and exercising conscious choice.
The uniqueness of each individual guides my practice and I choose ways of working that are most appropriate for each client. At times this may include body work.
