I work with individuals in the areas of personal growth, life and mid-life transitions, relationships issues, dealing with difficult emotions and grief and loss. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, and the depression that often goes with it, having co-facilitated a group for people living with anxiety disorders for many years.
I have a depth of experience in working with different groups, having worked in business and market research for many years, running focus groups, brainstormings and workshops across many industries, markets and countries.
I also teach Counselling Methods and related subjects at the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
I undertake regular professional development courses, and have ongoing supervision.

After many years in senior positions in marketing consulting, both in Australia and Asia, I retrained in Counselling and Psychotherapy methods. During the past years I have explored many wisdoms, including the Eastern traditions of mindfulness and yoga, and developed a fascination for the philosophical and religious underpinnings of many ancient and indigenous cultures. I believe now is a very exciting time in the understanding of consciousness, with new technology enabling the emergence of neuroscientific understanding to complement what we know about the human experience.
In my work I draw on this constantly evolving body of knowledge regarding the brain and emotions, as well as my own personal experiences including migration and multi-cultural issues, parenting, living and working as an expiate, relationship joys and losses, grief and the joys of self discovery.
And above all I honour these experiences as forming part of a collective wisdom that both contributes to, and is shaped by, my work with clients. It is this deeper collective wisdom that I strive to stay connected with, and that informs my work in a deep way.
