| I worked as a School Psychologist in both the Government and non-government sectors for over twenty years and have experience with a wide range of educational, social and emotional problems. I have been in private practice for over ten years, initially in a part time capacity. I have been in full time practice since 2002. My clientele include children, adolescents and adults. |
My approach to counselling is based on a belief that everyone has the resources they need to deal with their specific life issues and difficulties. My role is to provide the most effective context in which those resources can be accessed and utilised.
With my focus on health rather than pathology, my approach is individualised and solution focussed rather than problem oriented. |
