| I specialise in working with adult men and women. I am particularly experienced with: depression; communication issues and skills; understanding family of origin issues and the impact of that on your current adult life; early childhood trauma; unresolved grief & loss; transitions; life changes etc. I am also skilled and well trained to work with couples. |
Apart from my formal qualifications, I attended on-going training annually to keep my skill base fresh and updated. I also have regular ongoing supervision for my case load.
I am a Clinical member of the Australian Association of Relationship Counsellors (AARC). I am a Vice-President on the National management Committe of AARC. I serve as a delegate to the Psychotherapy And Counselling Federatation of Australia (PACFA). I am also Vice President on the board of Positive Counselling |

I have been working as an individual and couple therapist since 1994. I have also done numerous professional trainings in communications skills development, dealing with difficult emotions, understanding family dynamics etc. I have also been facilitating interpersonal therapy groups since 1994.
I have consulted to the AFL, AIS and VIS and worked with elite athletes at all levels.
|
I work with a psychodynamic understanding which underpins most of my thinking. I also think systemically. I integrate this with communication skills and direct behavioural changes to help people bring about positive changes in their lives.
