Unfortunately there is only one way to determine the quality of a service i.e. results! Your results. Accreditations do not make a good counsellor. However, study can hone the skills & increase the number & quality of tools in a therapist’s kit-bag & make a good therapist better. I am constantly investigating and evaluating new techniques through reading & attending seminars & workshops. Of course, every client/therapist interaction should be a learning & growing experience for both parties.

Following years of part time counselling I left a successful business career to pursue my passion for helping people & counsel full time. By gaining a BA (Psych) at CQU in the top 15% I received membership in the Golden Key International Honour Soc. From labourer to Chairman of the Board I have observed a wide cross section of people. Natural empathy for hurting souls inspires me to help people/families to realise their full, psychological & emotional potential. Private practice since 2003. I favour no particular discipline, approaching every case from a resolution focused perspective and applying whatever mix of modalities is applicable for the presenting problem. Behavioural Therapy and Schema Therapy play a significant role in my treatment regimens and Systems Theory is a regular feature when working with families.
