Alison works in Practice of Health, with other health professionals including a medical doctor specialising in lifestyle change & addictions & a psychometrician & educator; research is another focus of this practice which offers integrated & innovative care. Expertise in chronic care management & preparing Mental Health Care Plans; liaison with GPs & other team members. Groups are offered for patients & also for professional development.

I am trained in EMDR which is highly recommended for clients suffering from PTSD and other psychologically distressing symptoms including chronic pain.

We also offer psychometric testing for IQ and memory enabling us to assist with job change, return to work and monitoring of cognitive function. e.g. memory function and especially improvements when alcohol and other drug use is reduced or ceased.
