Alison works in Practice of Health, with other health professionals including a medical doctor specialising in lifestyle change & addictions & a mental health nurse trained in DBT; research is another focus of this practice which offers integrated & innovative care. Expertise in chronic care management & preparing Mental Health Care Plans; liaison with GPs & other team members. Groups are offered for patients & also for prof. development.

Trained in EMDR which is highly recommended for clients suffering from PTSD & other psychologically distressing symptoms.
Committed to assisting clients to reduce substance dependence ; we offer psychological & medical support to achieve this. We understand how challenging & difficult it is to achieve change. Alison is qualified to offer non-directice pregnancy counselling under medicare & special interest & expertise in perinatal mental health;working with aged persons & Indigenous Australians

Medicare funded sessions with Mental Health Nurses ensure extra back-up & support at no extra cost to our patients who require this.
