| I offer counselling and psychotherapy on a whole range of issues as well as specialising in ‘women’s business’, (menstrual and menopausal issues, women’s relationship with her body, issues of power/self esteem) and coaching for individuals to live more creatively. I also give workshops and lectures for women and health professionals on different aspects of menstrual health and the psychology and spirituality of the cycle, and rites of passage work for girls and their mothers. |
Building on my early years as a high school teacher of English, I‘ve studied Psychosynthesis, with further continuing studies initially in Gestalt and then Process Oriented Psychology and the work of Soul, as well as life coaching. For the last ten years I have been involved in an ongoing research project into the psychology of women and menstrual cycle through workshops (Australia and UK), counselling and writing, and how this might be integrated into psychotherapeutic discourses. My study of psychotherapy is an ongoing enquiry into soul and what it means to heal and have a meaningful, creative life. |

| I am a qualified psychotherapist with over 14 years experience and an extensive background in education. I have lived and worked in different parts of the world (UK, USA, Japan and Australia). Having also experienced extreme health problems, I know what it is to struggle with seemingly impossibly symptoms and craft a life that still feels meaningful and rich. Author of The Wild Genie: The Healing Power of Menstruation I have expertise in women's health and empowerment. |
In my practice I like to bring together depth, imagination, engagement and practical strategies. At the heart of my work is a care for soul, creativity and finding meaning. The struggles and challenges you bring to the therapy room are the signs of change trying to happen - I enjoy supporting that emerging spirit, helping you to love and live more of yourself.
