Bethbirri Counselling was established in 1995 to provide professional, affordable counselling for all individuals, couples and families seeking counselling in the Geelong region of Victoria. The practice is Christian in philosophy. Clients are regarded holistically (mind, body, spirit), as unique and self determining. Our service seeks to empower clients to discover their uniqueness and live accordingly for success in life. Existential questions are able to be addressed as they arise.

    I have a careful and sensitive person-centered approach to clients. Any of a range of therapy modalities may be used, depending on the presenting issues. Other professionals may be consulted in the interests of clients also, as needed. This is fully discussed with clients before-hand. Therapy is aimed at being a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience.
    At the Intake session, a full history is taken of each client's presenting issues. This is regularly updated throughout therapy.

    The service is quality monitored through industry controls, professional supervision and regular on-going professional development of therapists. As Director and founder of Bethbirri Counselling I am fully accredited through recognised accrediting Counselling and Psychotherapy organisations for the industry. As well, I am engaged in on-going professional development and training.
    Clients are regularly encouraged to provide feedback on the service they receive so we maintain high standards.


    I have been extensively trained in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Family Therapy and Mental Health.

    Transport and Parking

    Clients come via their own transport. Public transport is in the local vicinity, but not to door of Practice.
    There is sufficient parking for cars on-site.


    Fees are determined on a sliding scale of income .
    Clients nominate their income which then determines their fee.
    Fees range between $60 - $110 per session.
    MediBank Private Provider.

    Payment Options

    Payment is made at the time of each consultation.
    Payments may be made via Eftpos, cheque or cash.
