Somatic psychotherapy is guided by the body. It understands past events as a sensation continued to be stored in the body as memories. These stored sensations, when allowed to be fully felt, can be safely and easily cleared in a therapeutic setting. People commonly experience a greater reduction or disappearance of their overall symptoms and a feeling of more space in their systems. This space helps build capacity and resilience

I work listening to the language of my client's body with is not embedded in their story but rather a felt sense of their present experience of themselves. This felt present experience is comprised of sensations. Noticing bodily sensations requires time, so my appointment run for 90 mins. Depending on my clients needs I may incorporate Brain Spotting and Therapeutic Table work to support the unfolding of the Somatic Experience.
I have an EFTPOS machine for convenience
