These stored sensations, when allowed to be fully felt, can be safely and easily cleared in a therapeutic setting. I work listening to the language of my client's body with is not embedded in their story but rather a felt sense of their present experience of themselves. This felt present experience is comprised of sensations. Noticing bodily sensations requires time, so my appointment run for 90 mins. Depending on my clients needs I may incorporate Brain Spotting and Therapeutic Table work to support the unfolding of the Somatic Experience.

I originally trained as a hypnotherapist, before moving into counselling and into somatic psychotherapy. The somatic training has been invaluable in furthering my understanding of how our nervous system is entwined into our survival mechanisms.
