Ms Tessa Marshall

Relationship Therapist, Counsellor

Marshall Coaching Group

Tessa Marshall of Marshall Coaching is at St Ives and Wahroonga in Sydney. She can help you or someone you know who is struggling with reduced enjoyment of life and offers a pragmatic, caring and confidential approach. "As a professional counsellor my approach is to help you to work things through, see options more clearly and gain better perspective. Having someone impartial, who will listen non-judgementally, outside of your family and friends, can often give you peace of mind."

PHONEPRACTICE LOCATIONS

  • Warrimoo Avenue, St Ives, Sydney NSW 2075 0418 639 379
  • Pacific Highway, Wahroonga, Sydney NSW 2072

  • "Counselling might be helpful if you: have relationship difficulties, work problems, anxiety; feel tired or teary; haven't "been yourself" lately; feel overwhelmed; find little to look forward too; aren't sleeping or have habits you want to change." Career and life coaching are helpful when you have a specific goal you wish to work on in a practical, solution-focussed setting. The sessions help you to build your strengths, tap your inner resources, gain perspective and see options more clearly.

    Areas of Special Interest

  • Abortion, Addiction, Anger Related Issues, Anxiety / Panic Attacks, Assertiveness, Behavioural Issues, Burnout, Career Counselling, Childhood Issues, Conflict Resolution, Depression, Eating Disorders, Grief / Bereavement, Insomnia, Relationship Issues, Sexual Abuse
  • MODALITIES / Approach

Ericksonian, Gestalt, Hypnotherapy, Inner Child, Interpersonal, Marriage and Family, Narrative Therapy, Solution Oriented

I seek to help you build on your strengths, to tap into your own inner resources or, if you are a couple, to work together to reconnect. The first session is an exploration of why you seek counselling, your current situation, what you want to see change and, most importantly, a rapport/trust-building session. Often the presenting problem is not the underlying issue so ongoing sessions explore whatever you, as the client, "bring into the room" but will always revisit goals outlined in session one
