| Short or long term counselling for individuals. Generally one-hour sessions, but can be negotiated according to need. My service is offered to private individuals or staff members (EAP) and Professional Supervision is also provided. |
I undertake regular Professional Development and supervision, to ensure my continued accreditation with the Australian Association of Social Workers and my registration as a Mental Health Social Worker. |

| Since graduating as a Social Worker in 1984, I have worked with children and adults on a range of mental health and personal issues including stress, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transition and direction, social skills, self esteem and career guidance. I am registered with MAIB, VVCS and Medicare. |
My Social Work and Counselling practice is guided by my inherent belief in social justice and my personal creativity and pragmatic approach. I believe that people seek assistance because they want something in their lives to change, but for some reason feel unable to achieve it themselves. I often use Strengths Based, Solution Focussed, Narrative, ACT and CBT approaches and I find metaphors, stories and other creative approaches are very powerful tools. |
