| Good therapy helps people in two ways. On one hand it helps people to release the negative thoughts and feelings that stand in their way of getting over problems and being happy. On the other it helps people tap into or develop the resources and abilities they need to solve problems and achieve their goals. People are not always conscious of the thoughts and feelings that get in their way, or in tune with of all their abilities. Good therapy helps people open to the power of their subconscious. |

| I use a positive, solution-focused approach which I call ‘Therapeutic Coaching’. This model is particularly enjoyable, empowering & effective because it progresses you toward solutions here & now. It deeply respects your intelligence, personal perspectives & experience. By contrast, many common 'therapies' involve lots of listening but few solutions, or lengthy psychoanalysis. My experience is that this too often isn’t helpful. I also use nutritional interventions. Medicare rebates available. |

| My philosophy is to work as holistically with a person as possible - helping to make negative self talk and deep seated negative beliefs conscious by working with traditional and alternative methods of psychotherapy. There is also an emphasis on changing behaviour and taking action in the real world to promote real change. Respecting and meeting the client where they are at and honouring all their feelings is essential to my work. |
