Mataji Kennedy
Mataji Kennedy Clinical Psychologist
I work with mums with postnatal depression or those finding the adjustment to motherhood difficult. I believe motherhood is a set of learnt skills rather than an innate ability. My approach is very practical and I help mums manage their feelings which are often overwhelming. Self care is crucial and I work with mums to develop a plan for taking care of themselves. I get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing new mums develop confidence, feel in control and develop a loving bond with their baby.

Eric Lyleson
Eric Lyleson Relationship Therapist, Counselling Psychologist
Good therapy helps people in two ways. On one hand it helps people to release the negative thoughts and feelings that stand in their way of getting over problems and being happy. On the other it helps people tap into or develop the resources and abilities they need to solve problems and achieve their goals. People are not always conscious of the thoughts and feelings that get in their way, or in tune with of all their abilities. Good therapy helps people open to the power of their subconscious.

Stephanie Thompson
Stephanie Thompson Counsellor, Psychologist
I use a positive, solution-focused approach which I call ‘Therapeutic Coaching’. This model is particularly enjoyable, empowering & effective because it progresses you toward solutions here & now. It deeply respects your intelligence, personal perspectives & experience. By contrast, many common 'therapies' involve lots of listening but few solutions, or lengthy psychoanalysis. My experience is that this too often isn’t helpful. I also use nutritional interventions. Medicare rebates available.
