Tracey Metcalfe Counsellor
My philosophy is centred around building strong connections with my clients allowing them to feel safe and able to open up about their current troubles. Through this connection I am able to forge a working partnership with my clients drawing out their strengths and together formulating appropriate ways of dealing with the current issues. Counselling with me not only concentrates on the current issues, but equips the client to be able to deal with future issues.

Meg Perkins Psychologist
I work with people on probation and parole, with people recently released from prison and people still in prison. Since 1991 when I first went into the old Boggo Road jail in Brisbane, I have been interested in working with the mental health issues that lead to substance abuse and through the substance abuse to offending behaviour. I am able to bulk bill most ex-prisoners as Medicare includes substance abuse in the list of mental health problems covered by the new rebates.

A broader range of alternatives enables people to generate solutions and make more effective life choices, which lead to greater control, better understanding and more contentment.

Doreen Westley Psychologist
I believe that therapy should be helping people to find their own path. It should be a supportive experience and maybe a difficult journey and the journey may need to be completed in many short journeys rather than one continuous journey.
