As a counsellor for women and children I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in healing. I believe in a relationship where respect and empathic listening are paramount and where the client is the only expert on her/his own life. My counselling style is eclectic, but mainly strengths-based. For children to heal, I believe having ‘fun’ is essential and that the child should be helped to recognise that he/she has the coping skills needed to heal himself/herself.

Sessions are strictly confidential and last for one hour. Number and frequency of sessions is up to the client alone.
My service is for women and children only. 		Because Holisticlife Counselling is ACA registered clients can be assured that it meets industry standards and that there is ongoing professional supervision.
Experience   Orientation  
My experiences as a teacher and as the mother of two children in their twenties have placed me in a position where I feel confident I can offer a strong empathic connection with both women and children. I have been a volunteer telephone counsellor for over four years, and have also been counselling face to face for over two years. My counselling style is strengths-based and I incorporate a range of strategies including Narrative, CBT, and Play therapy.

Appointments can be made by phone or email, Monday to Friday
Hours: 9am - 7pm.
Appointments Saturday by arrangement. 		Parking available.
Fees   Payment Options  
Counselling: $80 per hour.
