As a member of the Australian Psychological Society, I meet profressional standards in terms of Confidentiality and Privacy. To stay up to date with new therapy techniques, I undertake ongoing professional development both here and overseas. I am a state registered psychologist, and a registered allied health provider for health funds, Medicare, Workcare, TAC, Victims of Crime, and Veterans Affairs.

I have worked for 25 years as a psychologist in educational settings, specialising in counselling children, families and teachers. My private practice commenced in 1991 and now occupies my time most days per week. I have specialized in work with clients with trauma, depression or anxiety. I find my work with children particularly satisfying. I am A Director of the Board of EMDRAA and the Convenor of the APS Special Interest Group in EMDR and Psychology. With a foundation in both CBT and Psychodynamic approaches, I now use EMDR to enhance the progress made. EMDR helps people cut through irrational thoughts and mental clutter and to learn to listen to their own inner wisdom. EMDR has a strong scientific evidence base in its effectiveness in working with PTSD, ASD, depression, anxiety and many other psychological disorders. EMDR is quick and effective and leads to positive personal growth.
