Overcoming Anger
Overcoming Anger -
by Vijayadev Yogendra

Description

Vijayadev Yogendra, life philosopher and educationalist, is that rare kind of individual who brings together knowledge from East and West to offer solutions to contemporary personal and social conditions. In his 35 years in Australia many people across the nation from all walks of life, from universities to prisons, business people to psychiatrists, teachers to trades-persons have benefited from his advice and his work. He retired from public life in 1998.

Educated in the Indian traditions of his father, the widely revered Shri Yogendra, Vijayadev Yogendra travelled the world to further his lifetime study of educational, philosophical and cultural traditions. The outcome of this work is a positive vision of what individuals and society can achieve, and the establishment of models to demonstrate the translation of this vision into reality. These models include the Total Health and Education Foundation, the School of Total Education (preschool, primary and secondary), the Parent Education Centre, Centre for Healthy Living and Project Australia for homeless youth.

All his work and writing are based on one belief - that every individual has the capacity to grow and achieve good health, greater mental and emotional control and to find joy and a sense of fulfilment in life.
