Kirstin provides counselling & psychotherapy for teenagers & adults and for individuals, couples and parents and their children. She provides both counselling and psychotherapy, depending upon your wishes and needs. Counselling is a focused, shorter term and solution-oriented process whereas psychotherapy is usually a longer-term process and allows for the deeper exploration of the origins of the difficulty, patterns of behaviour, core beliefs and relational style. Kirstin is a fully registered Clincal and Forensic Psychologist, with the Psychologist's Board of Australian and holds full membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is a big believer in the importance of continual professional development and as such, engages in both formal training and peer consultative processes.

Kirstin has been a therapist for 17 years. Her career has enabled her to develop knowledge and skills with a wide variety of client groups and difficulties. Kirstin's areas of interest and experience include helping people; overcome their experiences of trauma and address their sexual and/or violent behaviour, who are experiencing family breakdown and who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships with their children (infants+). In addition to specialist psychological qualifications, Kirstin constantly engages in further professional training & personal development. As such, she possesses a wide range of therapeutic tools to assist her clients. However regardless of these tools, Kirstin works from the belief that people who are self-aware and willing to take responsibility for their lives can make meaningful changes. As such, a primary focus is to assist clients understand themselves, their internal world and how they relate to others, with greater clarity.

Kirstin's practice has grown such that she has a team of Psychologists available to take referrals. As such, PACT Psychology Services is open during business hours and during the evenings. There is plenty of free parking right outside the premises.
