| I offer counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples and families. I have a special interest and extensive experience working with same sex attracted individuals and couples. My PhD research explored how gay men manage the place extra-relational sex in their committed relationships. As well as developing my research and writing skills this work has allowed fresh insights into my thinking about intimate relationships and given new energy to my clinical work. |
I undertake regular supervision and ongoing professional development. |

| I have over 20 years experience as a social worker and therapist in a variety of public health services including mental health, sexual health and HIV. I have also worked as therapist with Relationships Australia (NSW). I worked for many years as a Clinical Supervisor of counsellors at ACON. In addition to my private practice I currently work in the Mental Health Team at the Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick and I teach in the BSW at the University of Sydney. |
My approach to therapy integrates a number of different modalities including systems theories, solution focused, narrative and cognitive behavioural therapies. I pay particular attention to the development of a collaborative, respectful and ethical working relationships between my self and the people who come to see me. |
