Good Will Hunting
This film about an emotionally wounded, traumatised South Boston genius really moved me. Especially the way the main character Will pushes through his struggles, with the help of a caring therapist. I cried, and as a 6 ft male who was taught to hide emotions, I can assure you, that rarely happens. I love that Will heals when he becomes more emotionally aware, overcomes his fear of rejection and learns to trust. I'm going through a similar process myself, so I can relate to Will. "I'm not saying I'm a genius just cos I go here, of course I am smart though." - Chuckie (Wills' best mate) Amazing movie! Dave (aged 27)

Lars and the Real Girl The psychologist GP in this film is truly inspirational, and an excellent role model for any therapist-in-training. She beautifully demonstrates the intelligent sensitivity and gentle approach necessary when working with someone like Lars. I was also moved by how Lars was treated with respect and unconditional acceptance by those who came in contact with him. This story shows that a community's attitude and caring support can make all the difference when processing trauma in an unconventional manner. Bianca - the life like doll - clearly enabled Lars to find his voice and connect with his emotional, affectionate self. A very big thank you to all those involved in creating this wonderful movie.
