	I work with mums with postnatal depression or those finding the adjustment to motherhood difficult. I believe motherhood is a set of learnt skills rather than an innate ability. My approach is very practical and I help mums manage their feelings which are often overwhelming. Self care is crucial and I work with mums to develop a plan for taking care of themselves. I get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing new mums develop confidence, feel in control and develop a loving bond with their baby.

I have over 16 years Clinical and Corporate experience and provide a safe, non-judgemental environment in which clients are helped in working through their issues.

I work in a cognitive behavioural framework. My approach is very practical and solutions orientated and I have a strong belief that change is possible. I am happy for mums to bring their babies along to the sessions.

Transport and Parking

My clinic is on the bus route. I have visitor parking under the building and wheelchair, pram access.

Fees

Payment Options

Fees are $150 per session. If you have a referral from your GP you will receive $117 back from Medicare. I have a HICAPS facility which means you can receive the Medicare rebate back into your account immediately without the need to visit Medicare.
