I would like to comment on the rooms in which counsellors and therapists practice.

I would like to comment on the rooms in which counsellors and therapists practice.  I've been to several practitioners over the years but can't say any of them gave much thought to the room in which they work.  It baffles me that 'setting up' a space is obviously not part of a therapist's training.  Admittedly, my background is in interior design and I am possibly more sensitive than the average to my surroundings.  I would be very interested to know how others out there feel about this.
