I provide a safe, confidential, private environment together with a commitment to seeking understanding of your world in the way you experience it. I will companion with you at your pace as you seek to identify, acknowledge, explore and resolve the dynamics in your life that may be causing dis-ease such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, grief, loss, trauma, addictions and stress from past issues. I maintain current registration as a counsellor, clinical supervisor and registered minister of religion and abide by the Code of Ethics of the professional association to which I belong. I visit both a clinical supervisor and a spiritual director once a month, practice regular personal meditation and participate in retreats to ensure I give my very best to my clients.

I have lived and worked in three countries, experienced the loss of a child, been married for 40 years and am also a register minister of religion. I have worked with people from all walks of life, holding divergent world views and experiencing a range of different life issues. I know from personal experience that there is a way through every type of struggle we face and that there is always hope, even though we may be currently blinded by the tremors or tears. I use a variety of psychotherapeutic theories and methods in my work in order to uniquely meet each individual’s needs. However, it is a blend of person centred, process oriented, narrative and mindfulness approaches that I am most comfortable with.
