Velma's Pets for Therapy
Our programs are designed especially for health care and aged care facilities, where people are living without the love, companionship, entertainment, and sheer enjoyment which pets so freely give. Recent research has overwhelmingly shown that regular contact with a friendly pet gives physical, psychological, physiological and emotional benefits and generally raises morale.

Canine Helpers for the Disabled
Provides services to people with disabilities and their carers, as well as professionals who work in the disability and health care fields. We do this by providing highly trained Assistance Dogs, including Service Dogs for people with physical disabilities, Hearing Dogs for people who are hearing impaired and Therapy Dogs for people with many other types of disabilities, as well as Facility dogs which work in Special Schools and other group settings.
