I have been in private practice since 1988, having moved from the field of mental health and management. I have been associated with the Hakomi Institute since 1993, and for many years coordinated workshops and training in Hakomi Integrative Psychology and Sensorimotor Psychology in Australia.
I offer workshops in Authentic Power, Spirituality & Leadership and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma resolution.
Hakomi Integrative Psychology is a method of psychotherapy which is much more than analysis of that which we already know. Mostly, the client already knows what is not working, and why. It is the not yet known which we seek help to understand. Often in making the unconscious conscious, transformation occurs naturally. This method is present centred, meaning we focus on the experience moment by moment. Thus, much of the work is done in a mindful or witness state of awareness.
