Service Quality Provision

I can offer short, medium and long-term counselling and therapy. My aim is to promote your health and wellbeing and sense of personal empowerment with individually tailored therapy and/or counselling in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

As an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society, I adhere to that organisation’s code of conduct and commitment to ongoing professional development. I attend regular training courses and workshops to update and enhance professional skills, and receive regular clinical supervision.

Experience

Orientation

Prior to completing formal qualifications as a psychologist, I had extensive experience in corporate recruitment/human resources, and management consulting, including outplacement counselling. Since completing my studies I have worked in government and not- for -profit organisations in mental health, together with private practice.

While I have trained in several therapeutic modalities, including CBT, ACT, Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, I endeavour to tailor the therapy to suit the needs and wishes of the individual

Transport and Parking

I usually work between 8.30 and 5.30, but there is some flexibility with prior arrangement

I am conveniently located in George Street next to the Apple store, and opposite the Strand Arcade. Martin Place, Town Hall and Wynyard statons are nearby. Buses right out the front

Fees

Payment Options

I generally charge $150 for an initial consultation, and $130.00 per consultation thereafter. Medicare rebates are available with a doctor's referral
