Youth-friendly counselling for children, adolescents, and young adults
age 5-25, family counselling, family mediation, parent support, parenting workshops, therapeutic/creative group programs.
Youth Psychology is committed to providing a high quality service and understands the importance of this when it comes to yourself, your children, and your family. The approach is based on developing a strong therapeutic alliance with the client while providing comprehensive, evidenced-based interventions. The style at Youth Psychology is caring, understanding, and paced at the needs of the individual or family.
   
Jacqui has been providing services to children and families since 2005 including experience in providing assessment and counselling interventions to children, adolescents, adults and families. Jacqui has worked in NSW and Queensland across many areas of child, youth and family work including counselling, school programs, child protection, out-of-home care, family mediation, community education, and youth work.

Jacqui’s counselling approach is strengths based. She uses a range of modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and art and play therapy.
   
Monday-Friday including early morning and late appointments based on availability
Also another therapist in practice who has Saturday availability
Youth Psychology in located in North Head Sanctuary in Manly which is approximately 500 meters from Manly hospital. There is plenty of free, un-timed parking as well as good bus service. The practice location is at the Former School of Artillery which is now a national park reserve and health sanctuary. There are bush walks and picnic areas for you to enjoy the fresh air and have peace of mind for your appointments.
