I undertake professional development and training every year and receive continuous clinical supervision. I enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge about human behaviour and change, mental health and emotional well being.
Increasingly I look to positive psychology and strengths-based approaches to maximise resilience and the capacity for happiness. There are so many wonderful resources available now that it really is possible to take charge of your health and wellbeing. |

1. I've practiced as a counsellor and psychotherapist for 20 years.
2. I've worked extensively as a workplace trainer, coach and faciliator at both frontline and executive levels.
3. I authored the book, "How to Get What You Want Without Losing It: A Woman's Guide to Resolving Conflict."
4. I wrote the weekly "Coaching Column," for The Age during 2003-4.
5. Issues include weight loss, health matters, finding a partner, relationship coaching, anxiety/depression, stress, and life purpose. |
Each person is unique and requires an approach that is tailored to their specific needs and goals. Therefore I prefer to co-design a customised pathway for change with my clients.
I have found that a multi-modal approach is the most effective way to create change. I use coaching, hynotherapy, NLP, CBT, and mindfulness practices, along with solid counselling and psychotherapy approaches to achieve results.
My style is positive, holistic, integrative and inclusive of body, mind and spirit. |
