Grief and loss can be an overwhelming experience. Abuse and neglect in childhood can also have a profound long-term impact. These may be risk factors for later mental, physical and emotional health problems, causing us to endure life rather than embrace it. Our early developmental stages provide the foundation for our adult life and relationships. Sometimes we can find ourselves repeating unhealthy patterns within these relationships which can cause us distress.
I am passionate about supporting people in their individual journey to healing and emotional wholeness. In order to offer you the very best service, I am committed to my own personal development. I read widely and undertake a range of courses and training. I am currently a member of Counselling Association of South Australia Inc. and Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse Inc.

I have been involved in counselling since 2003 and now operate my own private counselling practice. I have worked with clients of diverse social and cultural backgrounds and of various ages. While my primary focus has been adults with family of origin issues, I have also helped people deal with a wide range of difficulties. I provide a safe, compassionate and gentle environment, with integrity and confidentiality. I seek to understand your world in order to assist you to understand yourself better and to find your authentic self. My role includes enabling you to explore, heal and release your past and be empowered to make the changes you seek. I put high regard on the relationship with my client and tailor my approach to meet your unique and individual needs.
