| Sian has worked in a number of settings with people of various ages across the life span. Specifically, Sian has experience working in a university clinic, foster care settings, the disability sector, specialised units for drug and alcohol issues, postraumatic stress and eating disorders, parenting programs, private hospitals and community health settings. |
Sian has trained in a number of therapeutic approaches and uses an integrative style of therapy. However, Sian's main influences come from contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy (in particular object relations theories) and attachment informed psychotherapy. Therapy involves a mutual exploration of feelings within a respectful, non-judgmental and empathic environment. Sian values privacy, confidentiality and the dignity of the patient. |
